I just resently got the Jardine and love it. I have also read all the post about the discoloration and wasn't sure about it. I have put over 200 miles on mine and haven't seen any color change at all. I contacted dennis kirk, K&N, and a jetting company and they said that the reason for the pipe turning colors it that the bikes are to lean. ( I don't know) But I have changed the spark plug when I change the pipe to a 7 verses the 8 that was on it. I don't know if the jets are if the white spacer has ever been changed. I am going to change the air filter tonight to a K&N universal filter and pull out as much of the air box as I can get by with and also change my main jet to a 147.5 to try and compansate for the extra air.
